The Optos Daytona RG AF Retinal Camera Imaging is a state-of-the-art, ultra-widefield (UWF) retinal imaging device designed to provide comprehensive, high-resolution images of the retina.

Description

The Optos Daytona RG AF Retinal Camera Imaging is a state-of-the-art, ultra-widefield (UWF) retinal imaging device designed to provide comprehensive, high-resolution images of the retina. It combines red and green laser imaging (RG) with autofluorescence (AF) capabilities, making it a versatile tool for eye care professionals.

Optos Daytona RG AF Features

  • Ultra-Widefield Imaging: Captures up to 200° of the retina in a single image, covering approximately 82% of the retinal area. This expansive view aids in the detection of peripheral retinal pathologies that might be missed with traditional imaging methods.
  • Non-Mydriatic Operation: Allows for imaging without the need for pupil dilation, enhancing patient comfort and streamlining the examination process.
  • Dual-Wavelength Laser Scanning:
    • Red Laser (635 nm): Penetrates deeper retinal structures, including the retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) and choroid.
    • Green Laser (532 nm): Provides detailed views of the sensory retina up to the RPE.
  • Autofluorescence Imaging (AF): Utilizes green laser light to detect lipofuscin accumulation in the RPE, aiding in the diagnosis and monitoring of various retinal diseases.
  • High-Resolution Imaging:
    • optomap: 20 µm resolution.
    • optomap plus: 14 µm resolution.
  • Rapid Image Acquisition: Captures images in less than 0.4 seconds, facilitating quick examinations and reducing patient discomfort.
  • Compact Design: With dimensions of 440 mm (width) x 500 mm (depth) x 795 mm (height) and a weight of 28 kg, the Daytona RG AF is suitable for practices with limited space.
  • Software Integration: Equipped with OptosAdvance™, a browser-based image review software that allows for documentation, monitoring, and referral processing, enhancing patient management and practice efficiency.
